Body & Mechanical Inspections

With these inspections, you will be adding lines to the vehicle. These lines will eventually make up the jobs that the production operatives will do to make the vehicle ready for your customers.

How to Start Body and Mechanical Inspections

You need to sign in to the app with the correct credentials

  • Open the 'Vehicles on Site' view
  • From the list shown find the Vehicle you need. You can search for the vehicle by selecting the 3-line triangle and selecting VRM.
  • Once you have found the vehicle you need to inspect, click on the VRM (highlighted in blue)
  • A list of inspections will be shown
  • Select the inspection you require
  • A start page will be shown to ensure you are working on the correct vehicle and inspection.
  • Select Start if you want to proceed. If not, press the back arrow next to the "Start' at the top of the page
  • Once you have selected 'Start' if you are on Body Inspection you can take multiple images of the vehicle and will be asked to sign off the CMR.
  • To move on select the arrow pointing right in the top right of the screen

How to Add Lines

Every area has its own section and it will follow a clear path around the vehicle.

You will have 3 options - 'None', 'OK' and 'Not OK'

  • When an issue is found you need to select 'Not OK' and a new form will be shown
  • Select ‘Pick existing Product’ and a list of issues for that area will appear
  • From the description select the one you want to add. This will close the form and you can now add further information to this item if required
  • Select Save and this will take you back to the main list.

Competing an Inspection

If you are unsure what you have selected and want to check, before the finished page there will be a list of issues that have been added to this vehicle and an opportunity to add any additional Inspection Notes.

Select Finish to complete the inspection.

Please note on the Mechanical Form, on the start page there is a service history and MOT section for information.
