First QC

When a vehicle completed the production process it will automatically move into the status of QC. There are 2 stages to QC, First QC and once it's been cleaned and valeted it will be moved to Final QC. 

How to View QC Vehicles

As QC Inspector, open QC Vehicles 

VRM Select the VRM to start a QC
Secondary VRM If the vehicle has a private reg
Status If the vehicle is in First or Final QC
EVO Job Card ID What the EVO job card ID
Model The model of the vehicle
Sold If the vehicle has been sold
Reserved If the vehicle is reserved

Select the VRM, highlighted in blue, to start

How to Perform a First QC

To start a First QC :

  • Select the + on the right of the First QC box

  • This will open a new form

  • Confirm that you are working on the correct vehicle and press the Start button. If you have selected the wrong vehicle, select the X in the top right to close the form. This will take you back to the main page and you can start again 
  • Fill in the fields as required. 

  • If you are happy that everything is 'Within Standard', on the last page select Pass and the vehicle will move to the status of 'Cleaning'

Failing a First QC

  • If there are any that are classed as 'Failed' then you will see a new form
  • Using the dropdown, fill in what needs to be done

  • A Line field will then be shown
  • Select the + on the right of the Line box 

  • Find the new product you need to add and click on the line to select it 

  • Fill in all the additional information required

  • Select Save
  • Carry on with the QC
  • On the last page you will see what lines you have added to the job card and you can add any additional QC notes. 
  • Select Fail

The vehicle will be moved into a Status of 'First QC Failed'. You can view the failed vehicles by going into the QC Failed Vehicles to view. If you select the vehicle from here you can add additional lines and move this to Inspection Complete.
